Married guys who don’t cheat on their wives know all about Husbanding 101.

Their game, our game, relates to men and women who have too much to say about the wife.

Can anyone hear a man say “the wife” and not think he’s ‘one of those?’

In this example ‘the wife’ is the universal. She’s the wife where ever she might be.

And sometimes you hear someone talk about the wife.

It’s okay to give them the business, just don’t over do it.

The following exchanges should not end in a fist fight.– Some women grow into a whole different person until it’s hard to even know them anymore.

= Or, they slowly recognize a jackass when they see one.

Don’t look them in the eye if you say jackass, then it’s personal.

And don’t look at them the way you look at your phone. Look past them.

Let them make more out of it, you’ve already done enough.

Explain Husbanding 101 to a newly wed millennial.

“The important thing to remember is Husband’s Rights. She’s your wife and you have an open book on protecting her.

“If you don’t like what someone says about your wife, and women in general, you have the right to join the conversation with force.”

They’ll say, “My wife doesn’t need protection. Neither does yours. All you saying is your insecurities. You need to be the big protector? Really? Is that a special power you have? That’s what Husband 101 means?

“You sound more like ‘wants to fight guy.’ Where are you from again? Your wife, my wife, most women worthy of the title, are not damsel’s in distress waiting for their knight in shining armor to come to their rescue.

“I’ve had guys at parties and bars ask me if I knew the girl across the room was single. I tell them they should ask her. Then they come back wondering why I never said anything. I’m not worried. You sound worried.”

The non-cheater man question to Husbanding 101.

Marriage cheaters worry about getting caught.

True or False?

I go with true, otherwise they’d be divorced guy not worried about getting caught.

Non-cheater guy following Husbanding 101 isn’t worried as much as it might sound.

He’s not worried about a phone call, a picture, a text.

Talk junk to his wife and he’ll worry about you.

Don’t get caught in that trap.

We’re caught in a trap
I can’t walk out
Because I love you too much babyWhy can’t you see
What you’re doing to me
When you don’t believe a word I say?We can’t go on together
With suspicious minds
And we can’t build our dreams
On suspicious minds

So, if an old friend I know
Drops by to say hello
Would I still see suspicion in your eyes?

Here we go again
Asking where I’ve been
You can’t see these tears are real
I’m crying

We can’t go on together
With suspicious minds
And we can’t build our dreams
On suspicious minds

Oh let our love survive
Or dry the tears from your eyes
Let’s don’t let a good thing die

When honey, you know
I’ve never lied to you
Mmm yeah, yeah

    Another crowd pleaser

My Oregon Duck Basketball posts went hardly anywhere near viral, and killed organic search.

Then my archives looked bad, like they were hacked. Instead of panic, I pushed through and fixed things.

Sometimes I think of Field of Dreams with it’s ‘build it and they will come.’

Not so much Duck fans, but my crowd is sort of fickle about going off message. A learning experience all the time.
