LOST FAMILY? LESSONS FROM SHAQ

A lost family is no small thing to an older man like Shaquille O’Neal. Two wives and six kids later, he seems to be feeling it. A quote made the rounds last week with Shaq feeling remorse for living in a 100,00 sq ft house. Alone. And it sounds awful.

WORST SELFIE REGRET SO FAR

This roadside attraction is called Forrest Gump Hill. Why? Then it hit me. I pulled over after dodging people taking pictures in the middle of the road like this was a movie set not the fast road out of Monument Valley. I’d already been on the slow road.

QUIT NOW? THEN WHAT

Quit now and forever hold your peace? Who do you say that to? And who would listen? Quitting is the easy part, it’s what comes next that’s hard to figure out.

ADULT FRIENDSHIP FAILS TO AVOID

Adult friendship is a balancing act. They are either too friendly, or distant. Too enthusiastic, or remote. And it’s always ‘them?’ Ok, boomer.

APOLOGIZE NOW THAT YOU’VE HAD TIME TO THINK

Apologize now? For what? Who hasn’t had some regret during the coronavirus quarantine? Maybe a little remorse? If that’s you, then it’s time to apologize now. Start early and bring it up to speed.

AMAZON SEARCH FOR BITTER, ANGRY, PROFANE MEMOIR

Amazon search is easy, like google, except you can buy the search results right away. Not so much on google prime. I’m not searching as much as researching the competition during editing breaks of my cancer memoir in the works, and happy to find great books on the topic, though not too many […]
