OREGON BLUES ON A FATHER / SON DAY

Oregon blues are a different blues. I blame the clouds. But no clouds on Waterfront Blues Festival Saturday, which is why I wore a rash-guard hoodie instead of layers of sunscreen. It was a no cloud Saturday awash in family time:

DREAM DAY, D-DAY TOMORROW

My dream day is pretty simple. I had one recently. Did I live every moment to the max and soak up the vibes? Or did I just feel lucky as hell to be a part of such a day? Well let me tell you my idea of a dream day at my house:

ONE SAD SUPER BOWL LATER, 2023

Me: It’s looking like a sad Super Bowl this year. Wife: That sounds so lonely. Just you and me and millions of fans. Me: That’s the plan. Wife: I miss the party. I’d even cook. Me: You sound sad.
