ANGRY LIAR MORE BELIEVABLE THAN CALM TRUTH

ANGRY LIAR

An angry liar has their place.

With so many angry men and women coming out with their bile, the question of place is ‘where?’

No, the main question is why are they coming across as so damn angry.

Should everyone be angry?

In polite society anger used to be expressed in private among concerned parties.

Someone did something wrong, and a voice of calm truth sorted it out.

Those people used to be called impartial judges, whether on the bench or not.

Calm truth could come from teachers, parents, or adults in the neighborhood.

And we would listen. As kids we listened hard. As adults, not so much.

What happened?

Growing Up Boomer

If my dad ever made a face like this, I never saw it.

But ask any proud Baby Boomer about their dad and their iron rule over the family.

Ask if their father stopped the car every block and made them cut a tree branch for a whipping.

“Oh yes, and it made us love him even more.”

Ask if their dad cooked god-awful dinners and made the kids sit at the table until they either finished, or went face down asleep in their plate.

“He did it out of love.”

Growing up Boomer was different than today on many fronts.

Celebrations were as rare as a Jehovah Witness Christmas tree around my childhood home.

Helicopter Parents hadn’t been invented yet. Every mom and dad hadn’t been convinced their kids were secretly geniuses.

Parents of boomers lived through the Great Depression and WWII and Korea. They’d seen the dark side of humanity in more ways than one.

If they didn’t all suffer from a degree of PTSD I can’t imagine why not.

They wanted to put it behind them, find a girl, and start a family.

And that’s how the Baby Boom began.

When Angry Liars Persist

When a liar gets enough wind in their sails, they speak for God?

And no one turns the channel.

After speaking for God, and assuming the comprehensive knowledge of the All Mighty, they feel the power to cast aspersions far and wide.

One defamation suit after another has come home to roost with the result being a bankruptcy claim by the big bullshitter.

Jones has three children with ex-wife Kelly Jones. The couple divorced in March 2015. In 2017, Kelly sought sole or joint custody of their children due to her ex-husband’s behavior. She claimed “he’s not a stable person” and “I’m concerned that he is engaged in felonious behavior, threatening a member of Congress.” His attorney responded by claiming that “he’s playing a character” and describing him as a “performance artist”.

What kind of father could Alex Jones be but a bad one.

It takes a special kind of person to look at the tragic death of school children as a chance to score points with an audience.

It also takes a special sort of audience to tune into the soul deadening vitriol of an angry liar.

More Performance Artists

The angry liar has a distinct provenance.

Their work to influence people unaware of their job description as ‘artist’ comes from a master of the craft.

One weasel-faced bastard is the architect of the modern day propagandist.

The Jewish Virtual Library has this to say about Joseph Goebbels:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Goebbels’ boss did the early lifting for the hard work of convincing modern voters of THE TRUTH:

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

The All-America Advantage Over An Angry Liar

Now we’ve seen the results of electing a serial liar to the highest office in the land.

He got his four years, but it wasn’t enough for him.

From an angry reality television star explaining how a ladies man like him operates in Hollywood, to commander in chief of the greatest nation on earth with no stops in between for a reality check, we know.

And he wants more. He wants it all.

Supreme Court? Check.

Jan. 6 insurrection? Check.

Impeached twice? Check.

Leader of a cult following he’d lock the door on? Check.

He’s got it all and wants more. How do I know? Because I read and listen and still can’t understand how someone so low could stoop even lower to attract fans with no idea about their favorite skeevy guy.

When their main source of information on a tv reality star comes from another reality tv star, it makes sense.

Both men express their struggles to a national audience growing less and less enamored of them.

Their struggle to remain valid is real, and how they work at it is the stuff of nightmares.

A man or woman elected President of the United States is someone given the trust of the nation.

When they violate that trust in clear view, what are the repercussions?

If you dance the dance, you pay the band. With a record of payment challenges, how will it go?

Will an angry liar calm down?
