ANGRY MOB: A JAN. 6 REMINDER

ANGRY MOB

An angry mob attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

How angry? Murderously angry.

They were pumped and primed for action on the words of soft old man pretending to be a hard gear warrior.

The revolution was televised after all. Just not the revolution expected.

The revolution will not be right back
After a message about a white tornado
White lightning, or white people
You will not have to worry about a dove in your bedroom
The tiger in your tank, or the giant in your toilet bowl
The revolution will not go better with Coke
The revolution will not fight germs that may cause bad breath
The revolution will put you in the driver’s seat

Sub insurrection for revolution and watch the Jan. 6 Select Committee for review.

The video of the day is worse than ever. Who’s been in a crowd and been swept along with wherever they’re going?

It happens when you’re not sure of the people surrounding you.

By now, two years later, we’re getting a good look at the folks who listened to their orange idol and acted on his words, which to them were ‘direct orders’ from the President of the United States.

As a former Army Pfc I can tell you there are no direct orders for my level of service coming from the White House.

However, if I were an insecure white man tuned into all the forces in the universe telling me I don’t matter, I might listen for a sign of hope.

If I lived in a shithole state with the highest poverty rates, unsafe water, and a fat white man governor named Tater who campaigned on helping a trouser load of a white man in Washington, I might look for a way to make a difference.

The biggest difference in Mississippi is no difference.

6 Drawbacks of Living in Mississippi

  • Poverty. Mississippi has the worst poverty rate in the country, with 21% of its residents living below the poverty line. …
  • Obesity. …
  • Poor Health Care. …
  • Poor Life Expectancy. …
  • Poor Public Schools. …
  • Hurricanes and Tornados. …
  • Lack of Sports.

The Lure Of A Better Life? Not An Angry Mob Life

ANGRY MOB

What state of mind would you need to be in to travel to Washington D.C. to riot in defense of what? Your self image as a change agent?

Deluded. That’s the state of mind you need to in.

It’s easier being deluded when you don’t know better.

The best way to help your country? Join the goddamn Army and be all you can be.

But the Army isn’t for people who take tips from a jackass with no experience of doing something bigger than themself for people they’ll never meet.

That’s what volunteering for the Army does. In that outfit, if someone insisted and screwing up and getting the whole platoon punished, peer pressure kicks in.

Or, more likely swings in.

The people at the Capitol on Jan. 6 were there for the whole thing, ready to rumble to the end, ready to fight like hell to save their country along with an angry mob is similarly deluded people.

Instead of staying home and making improvements to their way of life in their community, like voting for someone other than a Millsaps college boy from a bad water town, they put their future in a man with no future who could care less about any of them.

In the world of role models for adults, there’s a new candidate for worst of all.

What Elected Republicans Miss About Jan. 6

ANGRY MOB

The angry mob was coming for blood, any blood.

Do republican senators and reps think they were invulnerable?

Based on what, the man they blindly followed? Still blindly follow?

If you’ve ever played high school football on the defensive line, then you know the chaos of following the ball and finding the runner while getting smacked around, turned around, and knocked down.

Eye on the prize, or eye on the guy in front of you?

It’s easy to get caught up in the game mayhem and lash out at anyone close to you.

You saw how the angry mob treated police officers. Imagine if they got hold of Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), Andy Biggs (Ariz.), Paul Gosar (Ariz.), Lauren Boebert (Colo.), Mo Brooks (Ala.), Louie Gohmert (Texas), and Madison Cawthorn (N.C.)?

If they heard “RIP THEM APART” from someone with a loudspeaker, the mob would have beat them down and stomped them to death.

2

In a take from Ask Not For Whom The Bell Tolls, it would toll for them. They’d be laid out like broken puppets for the custodians to clean up after the angry mob moved on.

A dog pack cannot discern its victims during an attack anymore than an angry mob. People just pile on to what’s happening, no matter who it’s happen to.

“GET THEM, BEAT THEM, STOMP THEM, KILL THEM,” riles up our brothers and sisters in mob movements to blind aggression.

The mob hears that, but is deaf to pleas for help.

Their desire to please their new ‘Daddy’ is stronger than preserving human life, preserving the Constitution, and fixing their broken shit back home.

Start local, and vote for the United States, not a mentally impaired man who can’t grasp the concept of SCOREBOARD two years after losing an election.

Find a better way forward. Cut the line on that trump anchor.

Is The Angry Mob Listening?

Who’s the bell tolling for?

Ask John Donne.

No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend’s were.
Each man’s death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.
