BREAKDOWN BLOGGER BREAKS IT DOWN

breakdown blogger

The Breakdown Blogger understands you.

They’re not breaking down, but breaking down big things into smaller bits.

Not everyone is strong enough to carry the big things all at once.

Call it a fact of life. Or call it nonsense.

But before you call it anything, consider the weight.

The old saying goes with the idea of not carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

The new saying tells you if you don’t stay current, don’t keep up, then who are you?

If you just flashed to every news outlet, social media platform, and a chanting crowd, we’re on the same page.

Growing up interested in history, then getting a history degree, I heard the terms ‘sphere of influence’ and ‘hegemony.’

What they mean to a breakdown blogger is power, do what I say, don’t question.

Is that anyway to live? Why not question things until you understand as much as you can?

It’s not a right you’ll find in The Bill Of Rights, but how was that even established?

The whole thing is based on the question of how people are best treated in a governed nation.

What about ungoverned nations? Let’s keep the focus narrow since everything doesn’t need a breakdown everywhere all at once.

What Doesn’t Need A Breakdown Blogger?

My readers can look for anything in the three thousand posts on this blog and not find any mention of ‘alternative’ facts, opinions on science not based on science, or support for anyone or anything promoting conspiracy nonsense.

There’s a breakdown for you.

I don’t tell anyone to, “Stay in your lane.”

Does that make me a bad driver?

Beware of people with too many answers to questions you don’t ask.

They are fishing for something, maybe you and I.

That’s how I breakdown the emergence of people like the recent past president and others of his ilk.

At one time kooks were kooks, not prominent people with a voice that reached millions of people aching to be represented by one of their own.

My eternal question: how do people living under the the national income average snuggle up to a gilded goofball infatuated with looking at himself in the mirror?

“Because he’s one of us,” isn’t the answer. He’s not close to being one of you.

“Because we hate the same people,” doesn’t fly either, not when he hates you, too.

They love the former guy because his unabashed ignorance matches their own.

He drew the love because he talked down to people who didn’t know they were being talked down to.

If they were married people, how does that ever happen?

There’s alway one in the couple who needs the upper hand more than anything else in their life and they prove it by parroting the talking points of a New York playboy, a TV man famous for saying, “You’re fired.”

When a man never elected to anything, who hasn’t put in the time to learn the job of governing, shows up in the big office, what could possibly go wrong?

Make The Case

Some bloggers focus on a single topic.

They have a project they want to see to completion.

Other bloggers have a vague notion of contributing to the daily dialogue with ‘thoughts,’ ‘musings,’ and ‘tips.’

Me? This breakdown blogger? I write to show off. I’m a big fan of showing off.

But, you need to do it the right way, which is:

Be literate.

Know the traditions you’re following, because chances are good you’re not breaking new ground, yet you’re still new. And that’s good.

Be on time.

A breakdown blogger needs to show up once they start.

The heartbreaking blogger gets people excited then disappears.

Instead of that, find new topics, travel, learn something you once thought impossible to approach.

If that’s more about your partner than you, tag along for the ride. They may not be happy you write about them, so ask first.

I’ve evicted people from this blog as well as had people asking me to take down any mention of them because I’m not their ‘cup of tea.’

But enough about my wife and kids.

If you have an intense interest in something important that you feel is being ignored, leave a comment with a question and I’ll answer.

It may not be the answer you’re looking for. In fact, it’s not the answer most of the time, but a bad answer may goad you to find one better.

Now you’re a breakdown blogger.

It’s not twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, instagram, or TikTok.

It’s you. How’s it feel with a new promotion?
