HONOR LIFE WHEREVER IT’S FOUND

honor life

How do you honor life when you don’t understand how anyone could live the way some people live?

First, try to understand instead of judging.

Besides, if you don’t understand their way of life, chances are they don’t understand your’s either.

Remember, it’s not a contest, but if it was, the winner is the one who finds a way to honor life, to love life, not degrade or dismiss it.

Former president and current shit-talker Donald Trump shares the love in Newsweek:

Donald Trump said there is “a lot of love” behind Russian President Vladimir Putin’s efforts to make “his country larger” on Sunday as Russian troops continued to invade Ukraine.

Who doesn’t enjoy Trump’s talk of love, his view on love, and the sort of love he has for Putin.

But let’s not get all judgmental on these two. They have so much in common.

Where else could you find two people so impressed with themselves and how they live.

Neither Work To Honor Life

Trump showed his idea of love when he called out fine people in Charlottesville:

Reporter: “The neo-Nazis started this. They showed up in Charlottesville to protest –“

Trump: “Excuse me, excuse me. They didn’t put themselves — and you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. You had people in that group. Excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

Reporter: “George Washington and Robert E. Lee are not the same.”

Could the same reporter explain how Trump and Jesus are not the same person, and do it so religious cults can understand the difference?

It’s an important distinction for those who can’t tell the difference, but they probably won’t listen.

We see Putin’s love light shining in Ukraine, and Trump shines in the afterglow.

Putin’s love includes shelling maternity hospitals and cancer hospitals.

If you read this and say to yourself, ‘Looks like David is repeating propaganda,’ you could be right. But I’ve got a tender spot in my heart for hospitals and babies and cancer patients.

Try to imagine starting cancer treatment with a war breaking out. From my experience you need to stay on schedule for cancer treatment for it to be effective. Stay on schedule and show up on time.

Then the hospital gets blasted, there’s no power for the radiation gear, and the shipment of chemo doesn’t show up.

You think you might die after getting a cancer diagnosis, but the doctor assures you that it is curable. Then your lifeline for a cure is crushed and you know you’ll die.

Both Putin and Trump share love for the downtrodden? Or, do they love turning decent people into downtrodden refugees with little to no hope for their own safety?

Human suffering on a large scale doesn’t seem important to them.

Sharing A Timeline With Horrible People

After reading WWII history books in my Junior High library, I was glad to live in a world without the evil men of the Axis.

Some of the leaders claimed they were simply following orders like good soldiers.

Some of these ‘good soldiers’ were executed by a hangman, others a firing squad, and a few capped themselves.

Over the years, news of concentration camp guards being arrested have been a reminder that evil still lurks in the shadows.

With so many years passed, most of the bad men have aged out and died, and that gives me some solace for the human race. Unfortunately, their replacements are more than willing to take their place.

While I’m not comparing Trump to death camp enablers, I do see a certain disregard for honoring life.

This is a man who kowtows to Putin like a little boy sent to the school office.

Both of these men are a shame on the human race, c.2022.

I’m sixty-seven years old and saddened to see once proud people falling into the Trump fold. The saddest part is how our Southern brothers and sisters still show up for Trump.

Even with a lifetime of wariness about carpetbagging sons of bitches, and the generations raised on the myth of the Lost Cause, they still flock to Trump, a New York carpetbagger of the highest degree.

A man who claims to honor life while admiring North Korean leaders and calling a Russian dictator a genius for invading Ukraine knows little of honor or life, let alone honoring life.

To The Youth Just Learning About Bad People In History: Honor Life

Bad people organize and instigate an insurrection against their own government and capitol.

These are the people who live life on their terms, you know, real manly men, while working hard to pretend they share common ground with the under-educated who have difficulty placing their loyalty, or who deserves it.

Loyalty is earned, and a man who can’t understand why he should pay workers for a job done doesn’t deserve any.

A man who thinks women love him so much that they allow him to fondle and grope them, and not see their permission as a career move for them, deserves no loyalty.

The man who says he could shoot someone and get away with it, avoid paying a fair share of taxes and calls it smart, and worst of all introduce his malignant adult children as White House advisors and an administration culled from the human scrap heap, deserves no loyalty from everyday people.

Honor life.

There are no very fine people on the opposite side of honor.

A credible guide doesn’t have the same track record of a serial lying, serial cheating man with an understanding of short attention spans.

As a guide, Trump makes up the map, defines what makes a home, and why you should agree with him.

So let’s agree with a multi-married man who fathered a few dregs with each wife, a man with an equally loose relationship with scientific facts and general knowledge, and who panders to the lowest common denominator among us.

This is the best guide to going home?

If you stand with Trump, who stands with Putin, is that home, or just a weak syllogism?

Let’s ask Ukraine.
