LIFE CYCLE WITH LOVE

LIFE CYCLE

This life cycle image showed up recently.

It’s probably been around.

Who hasn’t been around.

If you’re a baby boomer, I’m looking at you.

I’d like to see some kids in the shot, but not everyone is so lucky to have any.

It’s a life cycle in six panels:

Meeting, dating, marriage, old age, one goes, then the other.

That’s what I see, but you might see something else.

Boomers In The Seventies

LIFE CYCLE

How many of you see a car fire in this image?

Is it a car fire or your friends showing up after a smoke-out?

If you follow the legends of the times you’d think every car was a smoke-out car with a pound of weed in the trunk.

Maybe the nice couple in the top pic drove this car on their first date and the girl said, “If we’re going out again a few things need to change.”

And they did.

From there on out it was all clear sky and smooth water?

Sure it was. Most likely not.

Life Cycle Challenges Us All, Some Notice

Maybe you found your special and loved them with all of your heart, but they didn’t feel the same way?

Then you learned to roll with the punches without punching back.

Hopefully that’s what happened.

You can’t make others feel the way you do. I asked Peter Frampton for clarification.

Don’t let one poor outing ruin plans for another trip.

Did the girl you care about dump you for a better life with someone else?

If they didn’t, you haven’t learned anything.

If they did, and you wished them well, good job.

What if the next girl you cared about did the same thing?

Wish them well.

What else would you do, pine away for years until you meet someone looking for a broken hearted, broken down, wreck?

If that’s the case, snap out of it. People get tired of tending to things they had nothing to do with.

It’s called baggage, brothers and sisters. We all have baggage and the rule is carry your own bag.

Do you want a husband, a wife, or a caddie?

Be up for the challenges of a full life cycle or you’re going to be short changed.

Now ask yourself, how will make your partner’s life better today?

I’m asking for a friend, or I’m asking you.

Here’s what I’ve got planned: I’m asking my wife if she’d like to do something special.

Then I’m going to one-up her idea.
