TOP WEED CITY? PORTLAND OREGON AND IT’S NOT CLOSE

TOP WEED CITY

If Portland is the top weed city, who’s next?

According to KOIN and Real Estate Witch, behind Portland and Denver, Buffalo, New York City, Seattle and Baltimore were recognized as the most stoner-friendly cities.

Can you see the problem?

I’ll help clear things up.

Baby Boomers have heard this longer than anyone:

‘Modern marijuana is more powerful than anything from the sixties and seventies.’

This ain’t your grandpa’s weed.

But, and this is important, there’s no weed on the market that you could smoke, ingest, or touch that will change your surroundings.

Get loaded in Buffalo, New York City, or Baltimore and guess what, you’re still loaded in Buffalo, NYC, and Baltimore.

If that doesn’t sound like a downer, what does?

You’ve got Denver and Seattle to harsh your buzz.

I feel that other cities don’t have what Portland has in terms of getting bent.

Denver weed business?

Buffalo weed business?

The cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility now under construction in South Buffalo will be capable of growing more than $19 million worth of recreational pot – enough for more than 5 million joints or 20 million gummies each year, according to the head of the company that will operate it.

The top weed city needs to stay on their game.

Weed History

TOP WEED CITY

Gone are the days when Oregon hippies drove to Iowa to harvest ditch weed growing wild, then selling it to their little brothers and his friends.

From what I hear, the results were more oxygen deprivation than a weed effect.

Is weed still smuggled in from the Oregon coast?

Those days from 1977 seem past, too.

It was the 147-foot freighter Cigale, of Panamanian registry; one of the gang had bought it in Europe the previous year for around $300,000. It had, they later learned, come straight across the sea from Thailand with seven and a half tons of “Thai stick” marijuana to be unloaded on the beach.

It was the largest drug bust in the history of the West Coast at that time.

Top Weed City More Than A Stoners Paradise

The common perception of weed is that users are irresponsible knuckleheads.

It’s a different story when cancer comes calling.

For the pain of treatment you have one acknowledged choice: Oxy.

But, the more enlightened among us look beyond the opioid and the side effects of addiction, constipation, and a slew of others.

They look to weed in the form of edibles.

Is weed equal to Oxy? Not by a long shot, but it’s safer.

Here’s the deal with the cancer question of: Am I going to die?

Radiation and chemo will cure your cancer, but first it takes you down and drags you around.

That’s where edible weed comes in. It shifts your focus off mortality just enough to give you a break from the pain.

The pain is still there, but the small relief is better than oxy, liquid oxy, or black tar chiva, which is where you’re headed when the prescription runs out.

Do we know about heroin?

“Where do I get black tar heroin in Portland?”

“You don’t want it.”

“If I did, where would I get it?”

“You’re asking me like I should know. Me?”

“Not you like you’re an addict. I just want to know how it works.”

“You want to know?”

“I want to know.”

“You don’t want to buy any, you just want to know.”

“That’s it. I just want to know.”

“Where to buy black tar heroin.”

“In Portland.”

“Because you want to know?”

“Yes.”

“You’re not a junkie?”

“Correct.”

“Not an addict.”

“Right.”

“Just want to know and you insult me with this question: Where can I buy chiva in Portland. Like I’m a kingpin.”

“Look. I’m sorry. I’m interested in…”

“No problem. You’re funny. Okay? So there’s a place. A bar. People standing around outside. Park your car and walk over. A few people talk to one man.”

“Okay. This is good.”

“I’m not done. The man tells his customers where to stand. Another man comes by and takes money. Then another man tells them where to stand until another man walks by and hands off the dope.”

“Where does this happen?”

“What’s the difference. Now you know.”

Another source gave a location, Burnside and NE Sandy.

I’m not a weed advocate, promoter, or supplier. But I’ve found it useful.

You may finds it useful, too.

From a medical point of view, it can change your outlook from doom to hopeful.

It’s important to know the difference between doom and hopeful.

How many walk around with a sense or impending doom?

Don’t blame weed.

How many have a sense of hope or a better day?

You? Me? Anyone else?
