MOVE AROUND FOR A BETTER VIEW

move around

I move around the house from garage to kitchen and back.

A door in between is a bathroom door, which is handy

The kitchen has a refrigerator, but that’s not why I come in.

I’ve got a fridge in the garage, too

The reason I move around the house is to listen to my wife talk to her friends.

She’s got nice friends who help set things straight.

Everyone should have such friends.

But sometimes the conversation gets stuck.

A good husband arrives just in time to unstick things.

“Why do you need to interrupt us when you barge into the house with all of that enthusiasm,” is a question that includes the answer.

Whatever they’d been talking about has turned into talking about manners.

My manners. My move around manners.

I interrupt things when I sense a hole being dug and someone falling in. And I don’t want a muddy wife.

No, I’d rather have a testy wife making corrections on her husband than hear such dear friends disagree.

So I come in, stir the pot just enough, and leave. I’ve got one more set to do anyway.

Maybe more.

What do they talk about after I leave? Did they even notice I left?

Move around and find out.

That’s the plan.
