OREGON DUCK FOOTBALL WIN OPENS FLOODGATES OF HOPE

Oregon Duck football is to sports fans what hot sauce is to a taco.
A favorite food-stuff is easily ruined by the wrong sauce.
But the right sauce brings glory and memories flooding out like the Columbia River pouring through a Bonneville dam turbine.

It makes people gush; it makes you gush.
Are you gushing yet, or just savoring the moment and waiting for the next three wins.
It feels electrical.

Oregon Duck Football Fan Base

Every fan base is different, from those coasting on past glory, to those waiting for glory to coast on.
You see, as I like to explain to my students, family, and friends, in every relationship there is a horse and a rider.
That’s a picture of Bo Nix rolling out to the right and throwing across his body to the other side of field.
As we like to say around here, “That’s a pro pass right on schedule. This guy reminds me of Brock Purdy.”
“I think Bo is older.”

Who Said Floodgates

How many coaches has it taken to get to the last PAC12 Title game?
Dan Lanning makes it a moot point.
How many quarterbacks has it taken?
Bo Nix makes it a moot point.
Coaches and players from the past are the supporting cast after the Ducks win the next three games.
If it all works out there will be a new logo around Eugene: Autzen Stadium: Home Of The National Champion Oregon Ducks.
We’ve seen how others have done it.
Washington with their two voted championships, Colorado with their awarded title.
Neither won their title on the field in the last game of the year.
That counts for something?

Oregon Duck Football Flow

Duck fans have hope and flow; Michigan fans have hope.
Oregon State Beaver fans? Not so much:

“As I start this next chapter of my coaching career, I want to first thank all the players, coaches and colleagues I have worked with the last six years,” Smith said in a statement posted to social media.
“I will cherish the memories and friendships. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to the people of OSU/Corvallis for your support. When I first arrived as a freshman college student, I had no idea the opportunities and relationships this community would provide for me and my family.
The collective impact you have made makes it impossible to thank everyone individually, but I am forever grateful.”
