SCIENTIFIC TRUTH: TWITTER EXPERTS DEBUNK CORONAVIRUS AND MUCH MORE

scientific truth

When scientific truth comes from scientists, doctors, and researchers, it has a certain weight.

In our free country with social media available, scientific truth has other sources.

So, who is the Go-To expert?

Something called The Truth About Cancer has expanded their base by branching out to The Truth About Vaccines.

It’s something that showed up on my twitter feed, retweeted by someone I need to cut.

In the blogging universe, or blogosphere, the mandate is taking a side and pushing an agenda for subscribers and likes and follows and so on.

Taking a side usually means controversy, which is the blogger gold mine.

For any doubters, watch Fox News and try and figure out what those people do when the camera and lights stop. Are they the same in real life as they are in TV life?

Without getting up in their business and checking education, marital status, and residency, I’ll risk a quiet no. How could anyone live with angry, pinch-faced, bullshitters off camera?

Rush Limblow has an idea of what that’s all about. The real name in media is Limbaugh, not Limblow. He’s not a Fox guy, but they might worship him for his insights.

A Wiki check shows he on his third, wait, fourth wife. Not checking on any other marriage records, but the leader shows the way.

Fox folks with marriage problems could call Rush for counseling?

The Scientific Truth About? ? ?

Scientific truth is not supposed to be about personal opinion, but that gets sidestepped when consumers need to hear what they already believe to be The Truth.

Too often, opinion gets mistaken for scientific truth.

It’s sort of funny until bad results happen, then it’s not.

Reading through addictions to a cancer truth post showed attitudes that take a stand against scientific truth.

Call me part of the sheep herd, but when the World Health Organization posts this list on twitter, I listen:

It’s #WorldImmunizationWeek! Vaccine-preventable diseases include: Cervical cancer, Cholera, Diphtheria, Ebola, Hep B, Influenza, Japanese encephalitis, Measles, Meningitis, Mumps, Pertussis, Pneumonia, Polio, Rabies, Rotavirus, Rubella, Tetanus, Typhoid, Varicella, Yellow Fever, Yes, #VaccinesWork!

At least I listen more attentively to the WHO than I do Karen who says she’s a forklift driver in her bio, along with ninety six fans.

And it’s not about qualifications including forklift driver. I learned about forklift stuff when I got my lift truck license and started moving big things. It’s not easy work, but it’s not scientific in terms of disease control.

Cancer Doctors For Scientific Truth

One twitter expert on medical advice said they’d never take a vaccine, not for coronavirus, or covid-19. Their fans didn’t correct them.

Another said they’d never had a flu shot and never had the flu in fifty-four years.

My wish for all is they never get the flu, pneumonia, or any virus. But . . .

Why Vaccinate? One Reason, Or Two

I met a man who was dying from the sort of neck cancer I had.

At the time I met him, I had a clean check up from the neck up.

The man knew he was on the way out and was a very gracious person, not angry and bitter, which seemed more likely if it had been me.

This man had taken medical advice on curing cancer from people other than cancer doctors.

His health failed as the cancer progressed. When he decided to go mainstream with chemo and radiation, he learned that his vital signs weren’t in line with the treatment to cure.

That’s when I met him. He died a few months later.

Would the HPV vaccine have saved his life? Probably.

He was a good reference when I discovered a lump on my neck. I was sixty-one and looked forward to being sixty-two, then sixty-three. I’m sixty-five now. I went through the fire and came out the other side more toasted than ever before.

During the pre-treatment analysis I met an older man who had just finished the same thing I was headed for. I asked him how it went.

He said, “I got through the chemo and radiation pretty good, but caught pneumonia afterwards and it was worse than the treatment.”

That same day I got a pneumonia vaccine; when I turned sixty-five I got the flu vaccine.

The choice down the line is whether or not to take the coronavirus vaccine. For those people who have never seen the inside of a hospital full of people in dire straits, it’s all a big deke, a fake, a juke to take them down and force them to do something they don’t want to do.

And that’s their right. What isn’t their right is transmitting the disease to those more vulnerable, like their momma.

Once they experience severe illness close up and personal, attitudes change.

Scientific Truth Comes From Science

Everyone has their own personal belief system based on experience. Sometimes it’s not exactly their experience, but someone they trust in.

You’ve heard of Delayed Stress Syndrome?

Chances are good you haven’t heard of Relayed Stress Syndrome. Stress is the key word. Hear something awful that sends you into a spin? That’s Relayed Stress.

Covid-19 is awful from the sound of it. Reports tell of a drowning death on dry land. Without witnessing that event, I still believe in the scientific truth on display.

What I have seen is the inside of the cancer industry, and it was no picnic.
