ENCOURAGING WRITERS TO WRITE?

Who is encouraging writers to write? If you answer with teachers, instructors, or professors, keep looking. Famous writers give encouragement? It sounds nice. Do you know a famous writer you want to emulate? Me neither. Now what? Paint?
