YEARLY AFFLECK APPEAL: WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT NOW

Affleck appeal

The Hollywood press has ignored the Affleck Appeal, but still proven itself a good movie star pusher.

Not all of the stories about movie stars are true, but with a push from the Hollywood press, what would you expect?

Fortunately, gossipcop.com has cleared things up.

Ben Affleck has been in the Hollywood news recently, based on my research, which is reading gossip rags in the grocery checkout.

Got to say, it’s been a hard read. So, I’m reaching out with the BoomerPdx Annual Affleck Appeal. I again declare myself a fan of the man, but also a fan with the perfect screenplay for Mr. Affleck.

The older he gets, the better story.

I’ve been recently inspired by The Irishman and Midway. The first for the de-aging process, the second for the epic saga of WWII.

Roles Of A Lifetime Here

With de-aging, Ben could play two parts in my story, the young genius (take that Matt), and the old industrialist.

The young genius who doesn’t know he’s a genius, at least not the world-changing scope of his ideas; the old industrialist who knows everything. (I see the age-conflict as a universal truth portrayed by a universal guy.)

I’m not a fan of the de-aging stuff with Robert DeNiro. If it had been around back in the day, Marlon Brando would have played his own young self in Godfather II instead of Bobby D.

On second thought, in my WWII story, Ben, you have two roles to choose from beyond the son and father. Even better is the the career army sergeant who steals the young genius’s ideas when he enlists after Pearl Harbor, and plays them off as his own. Or, the older brother trying to sabotage the young genius, take over the company that’s producing high tech gear essential to the war effort, all while sucking up to his father.

My advice: take the devious sergeant who protects the young genius like the Golden Goose, because he is a golden goose.

Living A Better Life

Ben, I get that this is a busy time for you, maybe the most important time of your life, and the Affleck Appeal is another brick in the wall. But, since you’re re-building trust and showing love to those you care about, who care about you, this is the best of times, too.

I am a fan of marriage, and I think you are too. It’s not easy with a wife and three kids in the best circumstances, let along under the glare of unending scrutiny, but there you are. From all I’ve seen, your wife, your ex-wife, or your soon to be re-wife, is a good woman. She has good intentions for a future with your kids.

As your family gets older, why not dazzle them with another Affleck Appeal statement by making a movie for the ages.

Leave a comment and my people will call your people. Or, I’ll call. Either way.
