YOUR LAND, MY LAND, OUR LAND

Your land is more than the surface under your feet. Go ahead and put ‘No Trespassing’ signs everywhere on a plot of dirt, but it’s still not enough. Why? Because it’s not your land, or my land, but our land. Here’s how I figured it out:

ANGRY PEOPLE PULL MORE ANGER

Angry people need an audience like a bird needs air, like a fish needs water. Without other people the angry one is a solo yeller. With other people they are a leader calling out ‘THE TRUTH.’ That’s when ‘the truth’ takes a dive.

DISPLACED WORKERS ‘RETIRED’ FROM OLD JOBS

Displaced workers retire? From what? Ask a Coos Bay logger about it, or a Charleston commercial fisherman. What did they retire from? Getting jacked around by new ideas on sustainability.

BUSINESS PRACTICE? BE YOUR BEST, OR ELSE

Best Business Practice? Who doesn’t do that? From showing up on time, to clear messaging, being your best in business means making a long list. At the top of the list at #1: Be Accountable. This is a big deal.

DYSFUNCTIONAL PARENTS TEACH THEIR KIDS BY EXAMPLE

We live with choices made, some we make, some made for us. Who among us wants a voice? Who here asks a question and accepts the answer offered?
